Can The Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0 Be Worn Appendix Or Cross Draw

  • #1

Just put my order in, volition have some new gear to review soon. I bought the two holster deal, ane the OWB slide, and the Cloak Constrict three.0.. will be a expert comparing to my existing rig, a G23 in a Halfmoon from Kholster. I am looking frontwards to seeing how well the M&P Shield 9 carries. The slim contour seems like information technology will just disappear, and it has to be more comfortable than the Glock. I like the Kholster, just they are not in business at this time. Conflicting Gear has a lot of good feedback so I felt comfortable going with them.

The Shield runs keen, past the way. I can't wait to go a couple hundred more than rounds through it.

I got mine a week or so ago. So far I like it. I have a feeling the backing is going to start coming autonomously based on the way it curls at the edge on the bottom side, just we'll see. With the lifetime warranty, I'm not as well worried.

I have a two.0 I like it alot, the back doesn't hold upwards on the ii.0 , they have stopped selling it. I tin can say that I get a new back from them every 6 months and they exchange information technology for free no shipping no problem no questions.I only email them proverb I demand a new one and they send it. I'm looking forward to hear near the 3.0

It'southward on their website, two holster special and yous get 20% off the order. Picked up both holsters for $70 shipped, which is what I expected to pay for one so I thought it a bonus. Will take an OWB for training and IWB for every twenty-four hour period.

Ive had my ii.0 for almost ii years and its nevertheless like new. I utilise information technology all twenty-four hours, everyday. I also accept the OWB Slide yhat I practise utilize occasionally but I dont like that the gun touches your skin if yous dont constrict in your shirt. I see the new Slide OWB are far amend and they accept stock-still that trouble.
I likewise utilise these holsters for my Shield.

I called them about upgrading to the three.0. Unbelievably they said just pay 8 bucks for aircraft and they will ship me the improved 3.0 back to use with my shells. Very cool of them I thought. They slso said they would requite me the new OWB for only aircraft as well.

Oh, I likewise have their chugalug. It is very nice and holds my GP100 and SR1911 so secure I forget they are there.
As well wait at the deal where you lot get 15 bucks off the chugalug when you order the 2 holster deal. Deceit beat their prices or warrenty.

I use i for my Glock 43. I also besides bought their belt. These are both firsts for me. My commencement concealment holster and start gun belt. They seem to work well but I take nothing to compare them to. I would similar to try a more minimal holster for the small Glock, information technology just seems similar also much holster for a small gun. IMAG0590.jpg IMAG0589.jpg

I too bought a 3.0 but hate it. Too big a rig, screws go on falling out. I went with a N8 squared tactical. Very nice unit of measurement.
Entire gun is covered then it doesn't touch skin.

I tried an Conflicting Gear holster (2.0) a twelvemonth ago, sent it back for a refund. No pictures merely the trigger guard didn't completely embrace (there was a small gap at the rear), and seemed to accept too much material for a smaller pistol. I institute like complaints online.

Ended up biting the bullet (so to speak) and splurging on a Stealthgear USA "mini" holster.. quite expensive (double the Alien Gear'south price), but much more comfortable. Been pregnant to mail service a mini-review of information technology.

Must have been a dud, mine has none of those bug and is extremely comfortable. Ive spent alot of money on holsters but this thirty dollar AG is the all-time and so far.

Practiced to hear all perspectives, I'g going to be watchful for anything we've covered here. Especially the trigger baby-sit coverage, equally that would be a deal breaker of course. I'll know more on Thursday according to the email from AG. Nice!

I've got two, one for a Sig P226 and another for my EDC XDS. Both have a lot of utilise on them and accept held up merely fine.

As for the screws coming loose, Alien Gear recommends you apply a little loctite on them. If y'all practice y'all shouldn't have any problems with information technology.

Thats what mine looks similar besides, but the gun fits snug and there is no chance of a negligent discharge, the trigger is very secure.
I practise see your business organisation and concur you did the correct thing, yous must be comfortable with your EDC.
I also hear you about the "to much fabric for a smaller pistol". I like the actress material, it keeps the gun very secure all day and makes for an easy draw. Fifty-fifty with the extra material I cannot experience the gun when I carry it, its as comfortable as haveing nothing there, its completely unnoticeable to me.
So theres the Cloak Slide OWB. Talk about to much material. The new OWB is a huge comeback and also has the removable paddle option.

Information technology was in the mailbox! Super fast order to delivery turnaround. Wore for 3 hours almost, in the configuration that it came with. Driving I definitely noticed it digging into my side a petty, volition need to discover the all-time setup for edc. Only all else, I am liking this. In that location is nearly naught gap around the trigger guard, the offset thing I looked at. Really similar the neoprene against the skin. I never idea the leather was a problem either, though. Good retention, and of course it disappears on my hip.

I tried wearing mine with a regular chugalug it was nighttime and day difference. A proper gun belt makes all the difference. I too find it'south more comfortable to acquit with the belt really snugged down. I seem to always forget this and use my normal holes. If I do utilize the normal ones I grind that the how I'll start to shift it'due south position from 3 to 4:30 until a belt loop gets in the mode.

Belt is key, I went and picked upward this one from Magpul. It's got a plastic/rubber inside layer that keeps things in place. I went to wear my 3.0 today with a normal belt and instantly felt the deviation.
